Why Spiritual Depth Therapy?

Are you suffering from a spiritual void, or soul loss?

I believe that there is nothing more important than true aliveness and self-love; and it’s often a spiritual journey of healing that can get us there. It’s easy to lose track of what we're actually striving for in life; we may have even lost track of who we are. Society leads us to believe we will get love and acceptance with things such as beauty, status and financial success. We get what we think we want and then there's something else missing... a giant void. The void is a spiritual one - a lack of connection to our true self and something bigger - a false belief that our worth is attached to what we do as opposed to who we are. Then we may not even know who we are because we've been trying to be something else. We may even believe that we are somehow intrinsically bad. We end up feeling empty, lost, exhausted and asking ourselves if this is all there is for us in life.

Recovering the Soul

Spiritual Depth Therapy is a path to a new way of experiencing yourself and the universe. Within the safety of a caring and ongoing therapeutic relationship, you can cultivate a loving and supportive relationship with yourself and a higher power. This often requires a journey to recovering parts of yourself you needed to split off from long ago in order to protect your most vulnerable self from something too painful to bear consciously. By revisiting the unprocessed pain of your past, you can come to feel great compassion and tenderness for yourself as you recover and integrate the sacred parts of yourself that suffered so immensely.

As you develop a more positive relationship with yourself and your suffering, you will begin to experience a sense of personal empowerment and fulfillment in your life. This can lead to changes in everything around you (relationships, career, lifestyle choices), and the way you see everything around you.

This is the path of the spiritual warrior, the archetype of the shaman, the hero’s journey. It requires courage, diligence, patience, faith and persistence. Yet what treasure lies in store is beyond measure: the treasure of getting to know and embrace your soul - allowing it to shine through every aspect of your existence. Never again forgetting who you really are.
